THREE generations of the Davis family, Aroora Enterprises, Murray Bridge, take part in the Royal Adelaide Show each year.
Jim and Rhonda Davis, their son Greg and his wife Peta and their children Eliza and Mack, and their daughter Karyn Albanesi and her husband Dino, enter a range of categories, including the Duroc, Large White and Landrace classes.
The stud has won a swag of awards over the years.
"It's always a thrill to take out the interbreed award, and it was a great win with our Large White boar last year," Greg said.
Last year, judge Brenton Schiller, Kenton Valley, said he and co-judge of the supreme pig, Bruce Hamblin, Bendigo, Vic, could not go past the young boar for the coveted title.
"He's just magnificent, there's so much to like about him," Mr Schiller said.
"The boar has got a sensational top-line and beautiful, wide back. He impressed me the first moment he came out.
"The boar really has everything you want - he's got a stack of meat, beautiful feet, he's up and active, just an all-round great boar."
Greg said it was always a thrill to win from such a quality line-up at the show.
"There's always really good competition," he said.
